My house that I bought in 2001 for $120k is now supposedly worth $350k with no major improvements. It is absolutely not worth $350k but I’m paying taxes on that number.

I am pre approved! My husband and I have been looking but we refuse to buy a house that someone bought 2 years ago for 250k. But now want 400k no major upgrades! Insane! We have been waiting for a long time to buy. Now we can we can’t!
