#TikTokCreatorSearchInsightsIncentive #speakingfromexperience As both a Doctor of Physical Therapy working in pain management as well as someone who has battled crippling pain before, one of the biggest lessons I've learned has nothing to do with anatomy or exercise. I wish more healthcare providers understood what it feels like to be afraid of your own body. I've met people who are afraid to bend over, pick up their child, go for a walk, or even get out of bed,not because they're lazy or unmotivated, but because every movement feels like it could make their pain worse. what's more, is I've lived that life. The fear of movement, the uncertainty, the fragility... Pain is real. Fear is real. And feeling unheard can make recovery even harder. One of the most important things we can do as healthcare providers is listen, educate, and help people rebuild confidence in their bodies. For many people living with chronic pain, being believed is the first step toward healing. If you've ever felt dismissed, misunderstood, or like no one truly understood what you were going through, I'd love to hear your story in the comments. Your experience matters, and it may help someone else feel less alone. I create evidence-based videos on chronic pain, back pain, sciatica, arthritis, rehabilitation, and other physical therapy topics to help people better understand their bodies and move with more confidence. If that's something you're interested in, consider hanging out; because remember, you're not alone, and you should never feel that way. #physicaltherapy #chronicpain #painmanagement
