Only way this could have worked is have Shakira do all her World Cup songs, and bring on K’Naan for Wavin’ Flag as a special guest. Gets the halftime show concept so it feels American, but ties fully into World Cup culture, and doesn’t look so disjointed. I’d still rather not have one, but if they did that it wouldn’t be awful

i did find Justin's act to be disrespectful to the sport and moment, so silly. Aside from that, i also only hated the last piece. it felt as a bad show because of those ups and downs, had they all kept the momentum it would've been decent/nice imo
