Whilst I’m inclined to agree wholeheartedly - we don’t have to feed the machine. Social media gave people the opportunity to earn and not do ‘conventional’ work. But social media never came with a manual. Somewhere between opportunity and outright vanity / desperation for validity - there’s a sweet spot. Social media can be used cleverly without have to be ‘the face’ of everything we do - this is just a trend that’ll die off once people get fed up of our faces plastered everywhere. That’s why a solid business infrastructure away from me me me on social media is vital and achievable.

When I traveled to SA and Namibia for volunteering work, we were there with people from all over the world and from all walks of life. We shared a big interest and bonded real fast over that. We cooked and ate together. We had dribks together and shared laughs over funny games and talked around the fire. No one hsmad their phones and all differences were gone. It was all about community and face to face real genuine human interactions. I felt so relieved and free We need that so much more these days

while i agree with you for the most part, in my opinion the human condition/ consciousness or whatever you want to call it is about expansion and growth in its very nature. if you put away all the tech today, more specifically phones, sm etc.. you'll still find a way to break through and forge your own way. kind of like putting paving slabs down.. eventually nature and weeds etc will always find ways to break through the seams
