Allah says:
“Men are the caretakers of women because Allah has made some of them excel others and because they spend from their wealth.” (Surah An-Nisa, 4:34)
الرِّجَالُقَوَامُونَعَلَى النِّسَاءِ بِمَا فَضَلَاللَهُبَعْضَهُمْعَلَىٰ بَعْضٍ وَبِمَا أَنفَقُوا مِنْأَمْوَالِهِمْOnce a woman enters marriage, her husband becomes fully responsible for her financial welfare, safety, and daily care. Because of this heavy burden of guardianship (Qawamah), Islamic law dictates that a wife obeying her husband in what is good and honorable (Ma'ruf) takes legal precedence over obeying her own parents.
