I’m not sure anyone has a problem with using it as a tool, but rather those that pretend to be full-on producers crafting songs - when really it was just a prompt in suno. It’s like claiming to be a chef after you heat up a tv dinner in the microwave.

Those who are against it don't believe in themselves. AI isn't replacing anyone. Just like with human-made music, there's a lot of marketing and hard work behind getting people to listen. AI may simplify the creative process, but it doesn't guarantee success. At the end of the day, whether it's made by a human or with AI, you still have to put in the work to make people care.

Listening to stems from Suno made me realise a few things. that sound is not "nice", or natural, and I'm not happy with what those sounds do the nervous system. Also, playing, making and catching music, whether it be melody, or vibe, is the most natural thing on earth. no machine can stop it, but ai sure can make it feel worthless, and I don't think humans deserve that. it's a fuckup in evolutionary terms. this is not about control, it is not another advancement in music technology, it is a removal of a natural skill. that's enough to make me extremely weary of the whole situation.

Agreed, AI didn’t write my story. It gave me a way to finally tell it. For years I had songs in my head that I couldn’t afford to bring to life. Studio time, session musicians, producers, and the cost of recording put that dream out of reach. AI changed that. It gave me a way to hear the songs I’d been carrying for years. Every lyric starts with me. Every idea comes from my life, my experiences, and the people I’ve loved, lost, laughed with, and learned from. I spend countless hours rewriting lyrics, changing melodies, directing the emotion, and refining every song until it feels right. AI is the instrument I use to create—not the artist behind it. Some people paint with a brush. Some produce with a guitar. Some compose with a piano. I happen to use AI as part of my creative process because it allows me to turn ideas into music that people can actually hear. If my songs make someone smile, remember someone they love, get through a hard day, or crank the volume on a backroad with the windows down, then they’ve done exactly what music is supposed to do. At the end of the day, it’s not about how the music was made. It’s about whether it makes you feel something.

absolutely agree !!! What about music made with electronic sounds as synthetizers and singers help them with autotune? or the DJ's productions? are those productions using 100% human work or play? Are those human real productions? or have there human work behind the electronic tools?... Is not the same principle for AI as a tool? Who works with AI Music apps also has the right to produce a New music kind, due a lot of reasons. The big music industries only have fear for a New way to produce music.
