I honestly don't get the hate it feels so forced just because of Aimi. If you focus on the main story, that's the biggest reason to watch it. Can we appreciate it professionally, considering everyone involved worked so hard on it? I really loved how the story was handled from beginning to end, especially Hou Minghao's gentle and caring character. Of course, it's totally fine if you choose to skip it, but I think you'd be missing out. Aimi's acting was genuinely great. She showed her talent at such a young age, and she's been acting since she was a child, so it's no surprise she delivered such a solid performance. Most importantly, the story itself is very relatable, especially if you care about topics like money, public funds, and corruption. At its core, it's a story about corrupt officials, and that's what deserves the attention.

KTTPH is HMH best performance, his acting skill is the best here. the plot is great, the plot twist is twisting. Aimi is great too. this is a great project for her to showcase her acting skill. she gains alot of new fans from here. romance, its more to pure love (max is forehead kiss then the rest mostly holding hands or warm hugs). KTTPH is beyond romance, its about the country/war/palace politics/patriotism. if you guys want to watch romance drama, then this is not for you. LITC will be the best choice. if you want to see HMH at another level, then KTTPH is for you 🔥🔥🔥

this drama is so good, beyond my expectations. i've seen hou ming hou and aimi's acting before, but genuinely appreciate their work in this drama. they deeply understand and deliver the characters beautifully through emotion and subtle body language. a solid performance of hou ming hou and aimi 👍🏻
