1) yes you are a birthday snack 2) periods are hell and at your postpartum phase I too bled through everything- I’m five years later and copper IUD plus ultra tampons moooostly got me but sometimes NOPE 3) you’re not insane it’s insane. This shit we do? Insane. 4) my community never showed up right- maybe they didn’t know how- but it ain’t the pandemic now- how can we show up for you so you can have five minutes of sanity and ten of feeling like a snack?

If I had the energy for a mental breakdown I would have it. I’m pretty sure I contracted cyclosporiasis and I have an 11 month old and her dad is gone all the time bc he’s a trucker 😭. I’m exhausted, feeling shitty and having to cater to a baby. Ugh.
