as a hairdressing trainee i can tell you so far youve done everything right my only tip is try be more careful when applying the vaseline, it creates a barrier as you know so getting it in your hair means having the issue of colour not taking to the hair.

Can anyone please help me?? I wanna dye my hair jet black which I have done before but everytime I did it I got an allergic reaction that got progressively worse. I’m very allergic to henna and I guess now ppd/ptd too or whatever dark dyes have. I tried a semi-perm like Adore, but it makes my hair greyish glow with no warmth. Tips? 🥲
