@littlesoftthing: The Chiikawa plush tutorial you’ve been waiting for! 🥹🪡✨ 🪡 Materials • White & blue minky fabric • Water-soluble stabilizer • Tear-away stabilizer • Embroidery hoop • Embroidery floss • Polyester stuffing • Heat-erasable pen • Printed pattern 1. Transfer the Face Print the face template and trace it onto your fabric using a heat-erasable pen. Leave a small seam allowance around the pattern. 2. Prepare for Embroidery Layer your materials in this order: • Embroidery hoop • Water-soluble stabilizer • Fabric (pile facing down) • Tear-away stabilizer Stretch everything tightly before stitching. 3. Stitch the Outline Use a backstitch to embroider the eyes, eyebrows, mouth, nose, and blush outlines. Change thread colors when needed. 4. Fill the Eyes Fill the white part of the eyes first using satin stitches. Start from the center and keep your stitches close together for a smooth finish. 5. Embroider the Eye Ring Use long and short stitches around the eye outline. Drawing guide lines first will help keep the stitches neat and evenly spaced. 6. Add the Highlights Finish the eye highlights, making sure they stay bright and clean. 7. Embroider the Blush & Mouth Follow your guide lines to keep both sides symmetrical. Stitch from the center outward for better control. 8. Finish the Embroidery Remove the water-soluble stabilizer, trim any loose threads, and check that everything is clean before sewing. 9. Cut Out All Pattern Pieces Cut all fabric pieces with about a 5 mm (1/4”) seam allowance. 10. Sew the Small Parts Sew the ears, hands, feet, and tail right sides together. Turn them right side out and lightly stuff if needed. 11. Assemble the Head Attach the ears and blue head piece, matching all alignment marks before sewing the front and back head pieces together. 12. Assemble the Body Sew the body pieces together and attach the arms, legs, and tail according to the pattern markings. 13. Stuff the Plush Fill the plush firmly with polyester stuffing. Start with the face, then the sides, and finally the body. A well-stuffed plush will keep its cute round shape. 14. Close the Opening Use a ladder stitch to close the opening, gently shape the plush, and you’re done! 🤍 Congratulations! Your Chiikawa plush is finished! ⸻ ✨ Sewing pattern and tutorial from: cutesewingpattern.com #sewingproject #chiikawaplush #chiikawadiy #plushie #plushpatter
