Real Caligo fans know that the eye in the background is not the actual dragon but just a projection of the night lord for a visually stunning backdrop and nothing more. The real Caligo is only the one inside the arena. the Dark Souls 3 mountain dead mountain dragon is by far the largest dragon in Souls history and its not even close. It's body spans over 5x larger than the entirety of the Catacombs of Carthus playable area.

okay so I had a thought if Caligo is that big how big is the outer god that made him , these are beings created by the greater will and making these beings so in turn they have to have a being significantly larger than caligo as they made him and put him in the realm to stop you
