@hookdaifishing: Only ONE lure worked on this water — and I'd never cast here before. First session on the Brussels-Scheldt canal at Willebroek, Belgium: hard north-east wind, warm water (18.9 °C on the app), and one plan — find a deep quay wall. I walked the bank with Live mode tracking me and flagging what was ahead, and found 3.5-5 m of water straight under the rod tip. A real wall. I started classic: shads big and small, then a spinnertail. Nothing touched them. In warm water a predator stops chasing food — so I stopped offering food. Crankbait on: hard vibration, a lure that demands a reaction whether the fish is hungry or not. The take came right along the wall, live on camera — perch. Netted at the water's edge, a few seconds over the water for the photo, and back it went. Lesson: when the water is warm and nothing chases, provoke — don't feed.
