I think the 3rd chainsaw was delivered via postmates cus it wasn’t planned to need a 3rd one cus someone came to assist him with getting rid of her body. Putting dots together in my mind my theory is he stabbed her, tried to get rid of her body when he kept traveling to those areas late at night but couldn’t let her go. At that point I think someone came to “save him” by assisting with the dismembering, maybe planning to burn her body after. And that person now has the chainsaw or they discarded it somewhere it couldn’t be tracked back to David. I think even after that, David still couldn’t let her go and left her in his Tesla not thinking it would be impounded by the time he came back. A friend I don’t think would be that loyal to stay quiet but a family member such as his mother or his brother makes more sense.
