@spiritbroods: 🔥 Waiting on God is not a season you escape. It is a life you learn. Waiting on the Lord means trusting Him while the answer is still hidden and continuing in obedience while desire remains unmet. It is keeping the heart surrendered without running ahead of God or forcing what He has not opened. “Wait on the Lord; be of good courage, and He shall strengthen your heart; wait, I say, on the Lord.” Psalm 27:14. These seasons are not empty. God uses them to teach dependence, steady the heart and train a man to walk with Him without needing everything explained. Marriage, work, a house, relocation, open doors and answered prayers are mercies from God, but none of them can carry the weight of becoming the end of our hope. If dependence disappears once the answer comes then the heart was waiting for the gift more than for God. Abraham still walked with God after Isaac came, Hannah still honoured Him after Samuel was given and David still sought the Lord after he became king. The answer does not end our need for Him. “But those who wait on the Lord shall renew their strength; they shall mount up with wings like eagles, they shall run and not be weary, they shall walk and not faint.” Isaiah 40:31. Bring your desires before God without allowing them to rule your heart. Obey the light He has already given and remain faithful in prayer when nothing seems to move. Let His Word govern what you expect, surrender your timing to His wisdom and keep your heart near Him. “The Lord is good to those who wait for Him, to the soul who seeks Him.” Lamentations 3:25.
