she tried so hard to learn how to be emma’s mom just for people to say she only treated her as a friend or only wanted a baby… she made mistakes but so did all the parents in the show. none of us would know how it would be like to find out your friend who you’ve been living with for months is suddenly your daughter who’s the same age as you. i love them and their development and how emma seems so much more comfortable around both her and david after s4 🩷

The mistreatment of Snow by the fandom and always demonizing her as someone who only wanted a baby is the bane of my existence. She was a complex character and mother, but at the end of it all - she was good. And people are mad at her for having a baby, but no one is mad at David for it. If they never had been cursed, they probably would’ve had multiple kids anyways. It’s okay for them to want more kids and to experience parenthood with a baby/kid. It does not mean they love Emma any less.

Snow isnt my favorite but she’s not this horrible mother people paint her. She never got the chance to BE a mom. She held Emma for not even 5 minutes before having to send her away… Then later had to met her newborn as a grown adult. She (and David) had to not only learn how to be a parent to an adult but also mourn the years she lost and feel enormous amount of guilt for all the years Emma was alone.. Snow loves Emma with all her heart and she tried her best to make up for the lost years
