๐ ๐ฏ ๐๐ต๐ผ๐๐ ๐พ In padel the serve isn't about power, it's about position โ where you and your partner stand in those first two seconds sets up the entire point. Get the geometry right and the rally is half-won before anyone has really hit the ball. Serve from close to the centre line to shrink their return angles and keep yourself covering the middle. Then follow every serve straight to the net, because in padel the serving team is supposed to come up โ serve and stay back and you've handed away control. Your partner starts at the net and owns the cross-court diagonal, cutting off the return before it can drop. Returning, do the opposite: stand deep enough that a fast serve can bounce off the back glass instead of jamming you, and send your return high and cross-court to buy yourself time to move up. Then move up as a pair โ the second one of you lags behind, the middle cracks open. Do you serve and rush the net, or serve and drift back and wonder why you keep getting passed? ๐
