@stl.labs: Time to scale it u̶p̶ DOWN! I keep seeing more and more video's of people scaling up my models. I have seen 1:5, 1:3 and even 1:1! So I figured I would try the opposite, and see how small I can scale my models. I have tried 75% in the past, and that worked flawlessly, so why not go down to 50% or 1:20 scale? The parts were easy to scale, but printing them was a bit more difficult. At least using a 0.4mm nozzle... so I switched to a 0.2mm nozzle, and that was able to print every feature without issues! The only difficulty when scaling down is that parts tend to become quite fragile. The wings are all super tiny and thin. Making the assembly a bit of a challenge. But the end-result speaks for itself; it can be done! Don't want too much hassle and still print smaller cars? I recommend scaling down to 75%, whereas 50% is more of an expert-build. And if 50% is still too big for you, then perhaps my the mini racer files are more suitable! Oh, and I have some special video's for the small car in mind, can you guess what they could be?
