Totally agree. Growing up, college was often just the expected next step after high school, especially with encouragement from our families. While it was never cheap, tuition costs today have skyrocketed to a level that's hard to believe. Many young adults are facing massive student debt before they even start their careers. In my opinion, college is no longer just about the "college experience." With the cost involved, it has become a major financial investment that needs to provide real value and a clear path to career opportunities. For many people, trade schools, certifications, apprenticeships, and other alternatives can make just as much sense—sometimes even more. The world has changed, and the idea that college is the only route to success just doesn't hold the same weight it once did.

I would totally agree bc the way you explained it. I went to uga but did not graduate bc I felt I could do something with my life no matter as long as I worked hard and smart. If I went back in time I would have finished uga as 2 years in time now would have given me more discipline and mindset to prob make less mistakes along my path. Love this Ash.

Absolutely agree. College provides experiences you can’t get from reading a book or watching YouTube. It’s where you work on soft skills & practice in a relatively low-stakes way. But is it necessary to be successful? Nope

Also… college is fun! If you have the scholarships/funds to go, you should! It’s 4 years of basically pretend real world where you are in a controlled environment to live on your own, make low stakes mistakes, and learn so much about yourself and meet people from all different walks of life.

My husband is a business owner without a business degree. He is doing well. Having said that, because he doesn’t have a degree he has to pay someone to do that end of the business.

As a multiple eight figure multiple business owner family with nothing more than a high school education from a small school in Texas, I 100% know you can be highly successful one percenter if you have the characteristics of leadership attention to detail high energy and I can’t do attitude. That said we sent our son to college and now he’s applying to law school and I do believe he has the qualities to be a successful business owner. I do believe that college helped him tremendously to mature and grow and see people besides just what he was immersed in in our family
