Friendships with someone like Laura can be so draining. They refuse to see signs, double down when you try to show them but will continuously complain when the partner doesn’t change. Then get more upset with you than the jerk they’re with because you don’t encourage the her BS.

Laura is that person that wants a partner, a husband, kids. She wants what Shawna has, but that takes time and men are men. So she, I believe, willingly ignored the red flags..She is agreeing with Shawna but at the same time thinking he's interested and I can get my HEA. Then once the wedding is over he shows who he really is and she doesn't want to admit to making a mistake so she ignores or makes excuses.
