I am in school currently for game design mostly taught about the programming aspect and I should arguably be against AI but my opinion is why would I? I may not work for triple A maybe Indie where AI will cut budget cost. And for any solo dev, or indie dev team would know if you can outsource the code of things that are tedious and focus on bigger scale more meaningful life improvements of your game then no one will care AI was used
