my problem is i read the sentences and i undertand what happened but my brain tells me No, go reread because you didnt undertand that word for word so im constantly rereading and pausing the audiobook to reread 🥲🥲

Immersive reading (audiobook and physical book/ebook) is the thing that works the best for me. I have to turn up the audiobook speed to 2x speed to keep up with my reading speed.

I normally read like 35 pages an hour, 45 on a good day. I can't believe when someone says they read a 100! Are you a God's favorite??? Thanks for the advice, I eill try it. I don't expect to read magically 100 pages but at least 50-60 would be nice 😭

hey so weirdass question but how did u manage to make the books look like this? like ik theres a floating shelf there but the books look like they’re literally floating, like no support for the bottom book. how does that work i kinda wanna do it too haha

i’m hyperlexic and naturally a speed reader (100pgs an hour) but MY problem is actually picking up the damn book in the first place 😭 i’m getting back into the swing of it tho!!!!

I loveeee listening to the audiobook while I read the physical book. Really helps me lock in and focus and I just read faster as a result

honestly sometimes it depends on the book also, i found myself going through contemporary literature faster than classics and that’s OKAY! oh and i found myself reading classics better when i read it with a british accent in my head idk why 😭⁉️

I’m not sure if you ever made a video like this, but do you have any tips for people who start to read a book but then quit in middle of it for unknown reasons? Like I’ve started to read book “miss peregrine’s home for pecular children” but then for some reason I wasn’t interested, so I thought maybe it was the genre I didn’t like, so I tried 1984 by Orwell and yet again I stopped reading it after few days

I’m a teacher for Primary aged children and of course reading every word matters for early learners. This is going to be hard for me to undo but actually makes so much sense. Thank you for the tips- the audio book pairing is a great idea as well as skipping “extra” words. Thank you 🙏 ♥️

When I actually allocate my time to reading I can read books like Salems Lot in three hours, it’s something that came with practice
