You feel free in so many ways when driving fast… Espically with adhd once you hit a certain speed the calmness and peace you truly never get to feel is there and all you wanna do is just hold on to that bc in a way it’s one of the only things that truly make u feel safe in a way. I will never forget when I felt the feeling the first time. The first time I truly js started flying on an open road with no cars. My anxiety went away and everything felt okay for the first time ever and in a way you can think of it as someone does with alcohol or drugs it soothes you when you feel like nothing else can or ever will.
