Excellent PSA. You do NOT need to be using sexy salt in your pasta water!! Or any other dissolvable situation. No one has time for a goiter and it is impossible to tell the difference

Also “pink Himalayan” salt might have heavy metals in some instances. We should eat processed and iodized salt as a finishing salt and kosher or sea salt when cooking.

There's so much regular salt in normal foods that depending on how clean you eat there's a good chance you would get plenty from the regular foods you're eating.

Yes!! Your body literally needs iodine to make thyroid hormone it’s called T3 and T4 because of the 3 and 4 functional iodine groups on them
