oh babe i’m genuinely so sorry for your news, i snapped my acl earlier this year at uni, didn’t take it seriously at first and then ended up getting surgery for it, not gonna lie uni vs acl surgery is not for the weak but time and good friends heals the knee, just make sure you do lots of pre rehab so your leg is as strong as possible, you’ve got this queen i’m sending strength 💪🫶❤️🩹

Did you have to do a mri? When i injured my knee they did one to check if all the liggys were still intact.

Took me a while to find out. 1 surgery and 12 months later it no longer collapses when I twist.

Have missed my Mattie updates in USA as on phone less on hol but this eve jet lagged and scrolling!! You poor thing!! Torn acl. When is surgery? Hopefully see you weekend after this ? xx

I tore my patella tendon so I know how much of a big deal knee surgery is. ACL’s you can wait whereas I needed mine done straight away so maybe waiting until after you graduate might be the best idea

Torn mine three times, the injury isnt too bad but my god the surgery recovery is hell. You can function completely fine with it torn, you only need to look into reconstruction if you play a sport/ want to return to sport

I tore my acl and carried on playing on football for like 2 months, then it kept giving way, so I got a mri. I was shocked I was like, so why could I run on it 😅 I would deffo recommend getting surgery very long rehab 12 months but if you are into sport I would advise it, especially as you are still young!
