The SA scenes do feel really gratuitous. Not only is it every episode but there’s no follow up- doubt we’ll see any with Alys. So these feel like they’re just there to be there 😒

so imma put this here since no one seemed to notice (not defending the sa at all it was pointless) but alys rivers threw the rock to make a noise which caused the bats that live in harrenhal to panic and flee. she lives there. she knows bats live there. she wasn't "controlling" the bats she was manipulating her surroundings and its inhabitants to scare the intruders who of course would think she can control the bats and vanish omg shes a witch (yes I know shes actually a witch i love the aemond/alys rivers story)

The Greens have many dynamics but it seems the only Blacks dynamics are Rhaenyra & Daemon & maybe Rhaenyra & Mysaria. Also would love to know you're thoughts on the Baela & Addam scene. I thought it was nice

Agree that the Aegon and Larys scenes are really working. I like the direction they’re taking Aegon. There’s a parallel at play with Aegon and Rhaenyra- in season one sorta dismissed by their council, in season two being humbled (although in very different ways). While they never have scenes I think the writers are finding ways to remind us they’re siblings.
