Amazing progress Kayla. Explosiveness from your start will help you close the gap more quickly. Use of a cross over start will also help. Both will improve doing ladders, while dreaded and exhausting it'll help in the long run. Thanks for the skating update 👍

Just a little constructive guidance. Pick that right leg up off the ice and push off. Try not to drag it along. You'll get more speed picking both feet off the ice.

Great job!!! You’re looking comfortable out there and are moving well. When you’re playing your off wing if your dman has the puck you want to get on the boards at about the height of the top of the circle and keep your back to the defender. From there you have 3 options if you get the puck: 1 grab it turn up the ice and skate, 2 immediately pass it to the center if she is going up the middle, 3 step laterally off the board towards the center of the ice and look for the other winger or turn up the ice yourself. It’s difficult and time consuming on the off wing to catch the puck on the boards on the forehand bc you first have to stop the puck just right and then you either have to have a sick toe drag to pull it off the boards or more likely you stop it on the forehand and then go to your backhand. A good dman should see this and attack you before you have time to handle the puck especially if you’re close to them. You will be more static if you take my advice but it looks like you start up pretty quick and transition backwards to forwards well enough.

As soon as the puck is dropped get to the point that way you're in position to tip past the D and get out of the zone. Keep playing hard, instinct will come!!
