We bought lard to fry food in and ummm the ingredients in our lard is pure vegetable oil. Nothing derived from animals 🤷🤷

My store has a very small halal section, which is nice until you read the back of half the stuff on that shelf and realize it's not matching the Halal sign. I've learned if it looks trustworthy, still just check the back. Just in case. 😅

celiac with an allergy to red meat & dairy. I feel the struggle. lard would drop me to wanting to die. I check ALL ingredients, and I'm an atheist. I'm the special diet ambassador for work events

Chips Ahoy cookies used to have lard and we had NO IDEA 😭😭 thankfully they changed the ingredients and many of them are Kosher now ❤️❤️❤️

I checked that too when I reverted to Muslim and I went to a different brand which does not have any lard. Only vegetable oil
