good to grow has a tutorial on how to clean them! they say to soak in vinegar for two minutes and place them on a drying rack and make sure moisture dosent pool at all!

They are reusable, IF YOU ARE USING STRAW CLEANERS. Do NOT put them in the dishwasher, get a straw cleaner, ensure to dry them as much as you possibly can and there should not be a mold issue. But people have to stop putting everything in the dishwasher, these obviously do not go in the dishwasher. A pack of straw cleaners is like 5-10$ on amazon, please get some.

You’re not supposed to reuse them. Cut the straw and pull the characters off so they can play with them/ you can slide them over reusable straws. They’re difficult to get off though

they are disposable plastic cups. no joke never were meant to be re used or washed at all. so why are we mad that they arnt made in a way that can be washed.

that’s why you hand wash them not use the dishwasher…. i literally put water in it and blow through it to make sure there’s no debris in it.

You can pop the characters off and put them on def cups, it’s hard to get them off but it works. Found idea on Pinterest!

U need to sit them in hot water and use a straw cleaner and hand wash them no dishwasher

Hey Mexican here, my mom keeps these too and to prevent mold even if they’re just drinking water, she puts them in a bowl of hot water and soap and Clorox bleach (2 shots of vodka style) also bought a straw cleaner that we used to clean them as well
