When you get married you leave one family and form a new family, so your wife and children should clearly come before your mom. I watched my father consistently choose his mother over mine and over myself. I'm 24 and they both died when I was 17/18. One of my parents has a one of a kind urn and I miss her constantly. The other is still in the travel urn and I don't miss him much, despite being the one who wiped his butt for him as he was dying🩷
