@loveunfiltered298: Why He Didn't Respond Right Away 👀 Lisa Bilyeu discusses an idea from Alison Armstrong about communication in relationships. According to Armstrong, some men may become so focused on a task that they temporarily tune out other information. She presents this as one perspective on communication—not a universal truth that applies to every man or every relationship. Whether you agree or disagree, understanding how different people process attention can lead to better conversations and fewer misunderstandings. it's almost as if men and women are just different. no one is better, we just exist differently

I absolutely love Allison Armstrong, she’s spot on with everything. I will say though, that aware men, see everything and quickly consider every option into the most important singular focus.

Me: Fix the garage door (already mentally prepared tools required, materials required and how long it will take and any caveats that might arise within the same thought.) Wife: It would look better white, maybe we could clean out the garage and reorganise everything inside, let's go shopping, we haven't had a holiday this year, Maldives? south of France? i need some new office wear, what time is it? have I eaten today? Yup.. true story.

Wow . imagine if now we could accept our differences. Strenghts and weaknesses.. and compliment and balance each other.. instead of battling and being the same or better than the other ..

Man what is this nonsense. I’m a guy who had hormonal therapy on both ends temporarily and being high estrogen doesn’t mean you’re unfocused, it just means you start focusing on different things than when on high T. Estrogen makes me more focused on myself, more focused on processing my own thoughts, my own feelings, more self reflection and testosterone makes me more focused on getting things done that i can particularly brag about. My reaction to these hormones is not universal either, your internal value framework dictates how hormones influence you to a much rather extent than you believe. A buddhist monk will probably have the opposite reaction to me, they will probably become more focused on contemplating and reflecting when given T.

The phrase
The phrase "Social media killed romance" is a concept that reflects the opinion that digital technologies and social media affect modern relationships, changing their character and perception. Some aspects often associated with this phrase: Replacing live communication with "digital noise." In the opinion of some, social networks replace direct communication, the sincerity and thrill that were characteristic of romantic relationships in the past. Instead of enjoying moments together, people immerse themselves in the world of online communication, where every like and comment becomes a subject of discussion. Creating artificial standards of ideal love. Constant comparison of real relationships with idealized images from social networks can lead to insecurity, inflated expectations, and doubts about one's feelings. The risk of superficiality and lack of depth. Social media can make relationships faster but less deep. For example, endless messages do not always replace meaningful communication, and 24/7 availability does not guarantee emotional presence. The pressure of publicity. On social media, love often becomes performative: it is common for couples to share details of their relationships (going on dates, proposals, weddings) to meet the audience's expectations. This can reduce intimacy and genuine closeness. Difficulties with commitment. Due to constant access to other options on social media, it is harder for people to stay in relationships, as there is a feeling that there are more attractive options. The risk of distrust and jealousy. Viewing profiles of ex-partners or comparing current relationships with idealized images on social networks can increase emotional tension. At the same time, some note that social media does not necessarily destroy romance completely — they can be a source of inspiration or help in finding new acquaintances. The key factor remains how a person uses technology and what priorities they set in relationships. #щп #fyp #socialmediakilledromance
