There is a lot of black musicians in metal making amazing music. Check out Sevendust, love them since I was a kid and Lajon Witherspoon is their lead vocalist. The guys are so nice.

One of the first metal bands was black mama. Death is amazing more like thrash punk. Bad brains, which is one of my favorite bands was an amazing all black band in the 80s. They were all dreads most of them Rasta HR a good dude what a lot of people don’t know is that that culture or culture is instilled with black and brown people from slayer to Sepultura to Brujeria. But nobody asks the good questions. Much love !! I wasn’t trying to man explain anything just being from the Caribbean and being into punk rock and metal. This is a subject that I’m really hyper focused and excited about

It’s from the people that continue to push the race issues. Music has no color and you shouldn’t be forced to listen to one type of music because of your skin color. That’s the best thing about metal, EDM and Dubstep. You will be accepted no matter your background skin color or where you came from.

i have actually noticed over the years that the only ppl who chastise a black person for liking metal the most are other black ppl. White metalheads seem to welcome you as much as they would anybody else thats into the genre
