You are the mom I dream to be! I did your financial lessons for big kids and smartened up my finances and now I've started an allowance and investment account for my 2.5year old. I wish someone had done this for me as a kid.

I’ve genuinely never understood why financial literacy isn’t stressed in school. It’s just never made sense to me. Sure English is important but like some of the math I took I’ve never used a day in my life and I think elective math like if you want to do the harder stuff for college prep versus financial literacy type stuff would be very useful.

Love this! But as a teacher please don’t teach her to move the decimal point!!! The digits move, the decimal point stays where it is it doesn’t move- in place value the digits move left and right depending on whether you are multiplying or dividing.

Just want to say, I’m not a parent but I am a teacher and the lessons you are teaching your kiddos is absolutely incredible! Your kids are going to grow up so financially responsible AND the math lessons you’re teaching them is incredible!
