Holy crap. Reading these comments scares me. Metal detectors are 100% safe for unborn babies. Hell we use electro magnets that are MUCH stronger for fetal imaging. You walk through stronger magnetic fields pretty much every day.

They just walked through a metal detector the only need for the hand scanner as if they set it off. you can pinpoint where the actual item is located. if they don't set off the main detector there's no reason to scan them with the wands
