i swear moving in with friends (close or not) usually ends like this. maybe 10% of the time it works out fine and everyone’s still cool afterwards 😵💫

Very similar thing happened to me. Moved to another country, “best” friend followed a few years later. I had a bad feeling when she announced she was moving here. Once she got here, she started treating me like shit, trying to cause problems in my friendships and turn my friends against me. She encouraged me to date a guy, then resented me for dating said guy. So much happened I could write a book but I finally stopped hanging out with her. Even my therapist told me to stop being friends with her!!😂 it’s been 10 years.

Amy was super jealous. She didn't like that OP got the job, had to get tue same one, did everything OP liked to do without her so she could say "hahaha, I'm better than you" because she was jealous.
