So let me understand this, you want him gone because he tried his best for his nation. When Pedri got injured during the euros no one cared. When lamine chose to play injured they managed to come to a solution. But cause it’s Frenkie we must sell. He carried this team when no one could and his reward is to throw him out. Dembele was worse than him but no one asked to sell him.

I remember out of all the players we bought in recent times, Frenkie had THE most buzz and THE BEST reception. 😭 Remember all the buses with his face saying he is the future of Barca? He even came to watch Iniesta’s farewell movie or something. Bro, we had so muchhhhhh hope on him and then we hit a new low, Messi left, time flew, and now we are here. Football is so cruel. And we loved him so much when he first started with us because he was a Barca fanboy even when he was a kid. We were his dream. And the whole Cruyff Ajax connection. Ajax asked us to take care and to enjoy him. We promise them that we would. The whole thing … it’s all turned out to be such a let down. My god! I wish it was different.

He is good, but he just slows the game down anyway. All of this injury started just after one game Flick told him to step up the intensity last season. Casado was doing what he does in the 2024/25 season, but everybody stopped believing in him. He gets too much praise for being overly cautious, lacks clutch moments, and has minimal involvement in chance creation.
