The true beauty of a place is not only seen in its mountains, trees, and rivers, but also in the people who have lived there for generations. The Aeta are among the first peoples to have cared for these lands. They have protected nature and lived with respect for it, yet their stories are often unheard. Through this project, we hope to remind everyone that nature should never be treated like a dumping ground. Protecting the environment also means respecting the people who have cared for it long before us. The Aeta are not just part of our historyโthey are part of our present, and they deserve to be seen, heard, and respected. This project was inspired by the documentary of Kara David, which helped us better understand the lives, culture, and struggles of the Aeta community. It encouraged us to use art to share their story and remind others of the importance of caring for both people and nature.
