Hot take. Last years Seahawks defense was just as statistically good as lob. Lob were great but you think about it and it was only 3-5 people you think of mostly secondary. Seattle last year quite literally were battling injuries all season Emmanwori and Love missing a lot of time every linebacker besides jones was hurt. That’s defense wasn’t just 11 people it was 15-20 and that’s what made it so good because the next person up could do their job.

nevermind the fact that on average an NFL team only retains about 60% of their roster from one season to the next, and Superbowl winners on average return about 50%, the seahawks retaining nearly 90% is just pure insanity.
