Well my reasoning is that prisoner A will have four options either red red or blue blue or blue red or red blue if blue blue he will say red if it’s any of the other options he can’t answer logically so he doesn’t know prisoner b know this fact as he is perfectly logical so if he sees the logican wearing a blue hat he will say red so now it’s two options either red red or blue red he can’t choose a logical answer so he says no the logican will get this and will find that the red hat will always be on the third person if prisoner a and b says no

How in earth where you get that answer? I am assuming prisoner A and B wear blue hat if prisoner A can see the logicians hat and prisoner b while prisoner b can only see logicians hat not the opposite answer of prisoners A is obviously confusing? How prisoner A can see logicians hat and prisoner b hat while prisoner b can only see logician hat but not prisoner A? They both wear blue hat meaning prisoner B should be able to see logicians hat and prisoner A hat. in this test there is no mentioned that other blue hat carry secret perk to able to detect individual hat. So the question is how Prisoner A can able to prisoner B hat and logicians hat while prisoner B can only see the logicians hat?

If there's only 5 hats, and the logician has 3. Then Prisoner A always knows his color. And Prisoner B only doesn't know when the logician has exactly 1 blue.
So the logician has 1 blue and 2 red.

I don't get it still who knows if the prisoners knew how many different colors are there and the quantity. If they knew the quantity and the color there are, prisoner A would have instantly known it, then B would say the same and logician too since if he ask this question it would work. Tho if the prisoners didn't know the quantity and they see 2 red 1 blue on the logician for example they won't know if there's the other color or more blue than red. You need to say more conditions before saying this IQ test
