I was the jolly man in red and white during the holidays at a theme park one season. my 1st weekend a 8 yr old boy was all dressed up to take a pix with me and Mrs SC...he whispered in my ear that for xmas he wanted his mom and dad to not get a divorce. as a father of 2 boys I almost burst into tears. it was so sincere. I don't remember what I said but Mrs SC came to my rescue. on my break I almost quit. Santa isnt supposed to cry. 15 yrs later its still with me. Don't underestimate the power of faith in make believe. Sometimes its all of these kids have.
