@vsrsus: Borja Iglesias. One minute. One match. One winner’s medal. And a lifetime of impact. A champion of the world that champions those around him. The ‘keep politics out of football’ crowd hate to see him coming. In a sport where advocacy against injustice is a rarity, Borja is the exception. Whether he’s hitting back against homophobia, advocating for multiculturalism, or standing tall in solidarity with Palestine, this baller is the ultimate role model. Refused to represent his nation in support of Jenni Hermoso after she was sexually assaulted by former Spanish FA President Luis Rubiales in 2023. Then came back into the fold, became a world champion and paid homage to Hermoso and the Spanish women’s team. Real recognise real. Iglesias by name so he knows all about spreading the word. Always smiling and lifting those around him, so it’s no surprise he brought his DJ decks with him. JBL speaker in one hand. Microphone in the other. This baller is always setting the tone. Just check his nails. The NBA might have the Sixth Man of the Year award but Borja is in a league of his own. Most valuable for all the right reasons. Hero. Gracias por todo Panda. #2026worldcup
