My 5 year old got sick in June and since we can not get rid of this cough. We have been to urgent care, ER, pediatrician, Pulmonologist and now ENT. Each place has a different idea. We have been dragged through 4 rounds of antibiotics which start to help and once complete cough returns. He has had oral steroids, Flonase and taking antihistamine daily. IGE level of 470 with only two other blood results elevated with boxwood and one other. I am desperate to help my baby get better this is truly breaking my heart in half watching him go through this. He is missing tons of school and no one will listen that I feel something is off. Nothing ever comes up with this cough, always dry and sounds like it hurts. Please help if you can. I’m a desperate mama in need of any ideas of what can be causing this. 💔 we are going on six months, honey didn’t help, steam doesn’t help, humidifier hasn’t helped. Saline in nebulizer of 0.9% does nothing either. I am literally going insane. Cough gets way worse as night start to roll in and coughs in the morning as well. Periods of fits during the day. HELPPPPP!!!
