So two years ago I deadheaded my hydrangea and got no flowers at all. Left it last year and it’s amazing this year. Should the plant be dead headed every year? Maybe I did it in the wrong placeThank you

Mine hasn’t had flowers in 2 years. Just the leaves. And I’ve been spraying neem oil because there’s little white spots all over it. Is that why I’m not getting flowers? Should I just start over with a new bush?

I don’t have a green thumb. I just wait until they are all dead for the season and cut it all the way back down. They always come back crazy big. 🤷🏻♀️
