![On 14 July 2026, Meta removed my post from @alimcforever on the basis of a copyright complaint filed by Ben Sodos of Vobile, Inc., acting as agent for WarnerMedia.[Attachment] That complaint is false. I am formally counter-notifying under DMCA § 512(g) and demanding immediate reinstatement of my content. The removed post contained: • My original video, filmed by me, featuring my own face and voice[Attachment] • My original script, researched and written entirely by me[Attachment] • My original on-screen text: “NEOCOLONIALISM” and “Waterford’s Rare Earth Minerals”[Attachment] • My original caption about Irish public infrastructure and government contracts[Attachment] Warner Bros. Discovery / WarnerMedia owns none of it. Not one frame. Not one word. There is no Warner intellectual property in this video. The claim is without any legal foundation. What this post actually was: Public interest journalism — verifiable, sourced, original — about the acquisition of Waterford Airport by a Texas oil billionaire, an €816 million Irish state contract, and the stripping of Irish mineral wealth. The video reached 51,400 views in under 20 hours. It had been viewed by members of the Irish Parliament. It was removed the same day it reached significant political visibility.[Attachment] Meta’s obligation is clear. Under DMCA § 512(g), upon receipt of this counter-notification, Meta must: 1. Promptly notify the complainant (Vobile/WarnerMedia) that the content will be restored 2. Restore the content within 10–14 business days unless Warner files suit against me in federal court They will not file suit. There is no case. There is no copyright. There is only an automated enforcement system being used to silence a journalist. Meta’s liability exposure is also clear. Platforms that act on knowingly false takedowns, and fail to restore content following a valid counter-notification, become complicit in the suppression of press freedom under both US and EU law. Under EU Regulation 2022/2065 (Digital Services Act), Meta has specific obligations regarding the protection of journalistic content and the misuse of notice-and-takedown mechanisms. I am requesting: 1. Immediate reinstatement of the removed post 2. Written confirmation of the counter-notification process and timeline 3. The full text of the complaint filed by Vobile/WarnerMedia against my content 4. An explanation of what specific intellectual property Warner claimed I infringed I have a good faith belief that the material was removed as a result of a mistake or misidentification.
