Yes. I’m due a refund from a parcel that got lost. Since may 1st They some how gave the seller there refund but not my £104 !!

I bought from a seller that very quickly was evident was a scam, Vinted acted promptly once I found how to report it, that was the most stressful part. I now won’t buy from profiles with 0 reviews. Otherwise, all other purchases and sales have been good experiences.

I think as a buyer it’s a lot harder to be scammed on Vinted as they usually side with the buyer if there does end up being a problem with an item. But as a seller I think it’s pretty easy for buyers to scam sellers, claiming items are missing or not turning up etc even if there’s proof. I wouldn’t say I’ve been scammed as a seller but I have had very awkward buyers that have ruined the Vinted experience and have lost me money by damaging items and sending them back and I’ve lost out. But like you say it’s not that often but when these things happen it does cause a lot of stress and at the moment Vinted are not being that great with banning / restricting accounts. I am wishing that there was another selling platform with as much traction as Vinted but with eBay’s customer service 🤷🏼♀️

I’m new to Vinted and have already had a bad experience 😭 The seller sent me an item that didn’t match the condition in the description and photos at all. I find it a bit disappointing that the buyer has to pay for return shipping when the seller is at fault

Yes I was scammed once but I got my money back 6 weeks later. I notice a lot of counterfeit items too.
