As soon as you said unless your in the dead parent club you won’t understand. I understood! Losing my nanny and mum last year really broke me and changed my whole identity . I’m just functioning. Even today a neighbour said to me “you look so well” i wanted to break down because people don’t know what’s behind my smile 😭

I lost my mom 10 years ago, I was also 17 at the time, and to this day it’s like I do not care about anythinghggg (things that should hurt me emotionally, I tend to move on quickly) or things don’t phase me. My mentality is basically “what could possibly be worse than that”
