Im a credit manager. I think this is an oversimplified, id even say inaccurate explanation. We don’t look at itemised transactions, but rather your behaviours, trends and signs of financial distress, we also look out for other finance/loan obligations. Most of the things you described here can be explained/rationalised. As banks, we don’t penalise anyone for using their overdraft, it builds a credit history (which can be good). The name/reference means nothing. Withdrawals are harmless. Pay Just Now services can also actually be seen as a good thing as long as your payments don’t bounce. This video is mostly misinformation

Former underwriter here…. It’s not as cut throat as you mentioned it. If you have credit and can manage it, they don’t have issues with that, also if you’re doing gambling, they look at how frequently you gamble more than the amount. It’s not as black and white as you might make it sound, also with cash withdrawals they look at the days you withdraw money compared to you actually withdrawing money. The purchases one makes and the reference on bank statements and how one manages credit is what determines the final outcome more the rest of the things you mentioned. Also how much money is left in your account by the next pay day has more benefits and shows that you have a good relationship with money. So basically you’re not wrong but you’re also not accurate
