install cosmic desktop with sudo pacman -S cosmic-session then restart. In the Lockscreen click the button at the top right and select cosmic. trust me it's beautiful

nah twunc you did it right 👍 it's completely fine to leave it default, limine is good and KDE plasma is excellent, very good for beginners, easy to use and super customisable. a nice thing about Linux is that if you want to try another desktop you can always just install another, you can have as many as you want and switch between them from the login screen. I actually have 5 graphical environments on my laptop rn 😭✌️

Yo so CtrlAltAlex like the desktops are just to make it look nicer and KDE Plasma (what you picked) is a gr8 one for ppl coming from windows so good pick :) I do recommend GNOME tho so maybe try that next time :)
