I love garlic knots lol. Here is how to make these! Garlic Knot Chicken Alfredo Sandwiches Garlic Knot Dough 1 1/2 cups warm water 1 tbs honey 1 packet yeast 3 1/2 cups bread flour 1 tsp salt 1 tsp dried parsley 1 tbs oil 1/4 cup melted butter Add the warm water and honey to a bowl and stir together. Sprinkle in the yeast and let it sit for 5 minutes. In a large bowl combine the bread flour, salt, and dried parsley. Pour in the yeast mixture and begin mixing while slowly adding the olive oil. Knead the dough for about 5 minutes until smooth, then place it into a greased bowl, cover, and let rise for 45 minutes. Divide the dough into 6 equal pieces, roll each into a log, and tie into a knot. Place on a parchment lined baking sheet, cover, and let rest for 15 minutes. Preheat the oven to 400. Brush the tops with the melted butter and bake for about 18 minutes, or until lightly golden. Garlic Oil 5 cloves garlic, chopped 1 tsp dried parsley (or a handful of fresh parsley, chopped) 1/2 tsp salt 1/4 tsp pepper 1/4 cup grated Romano cheese 1/2 cup olive oil 1/4 cup melted butter While the garlic knots bake, combine all of the garlic oil ingredients in a bowl and mix well. As soon as the knots come out of the oven, dip each one completely in the garlic oil so they’re coated all over. Chicken Cutlets 1 lb chicken breast, sliced into 6 thin cutlets 1 cup seasoned flour 3 eggs, whisked 2 cups seasoned breadcrumbs Olive oil, for frying Coat each chicken cutlet in the seasoned flour, then the eggs, and finally the breadcrumbs, shaking off any excess. Fry in preheated olive oil over medium heat for about 3 minutes per side, or until golden brown and fully cooked. Quick Alfredo 2 tbs butter 3 cloves garlic, chopped 1 cup heavy cream 1/2 cup shredded mozzarella 1/4 cup grated Romano cheese Black pepper, to taste Melt the butter in a saucepan over medium heat and cook the garlic until fragrant. Slowly stir in the heavy cream and reduce the heat to low. Once the cream reaches a gentle simmer, stir in the mozzarella, Romano, and black pepper. Cook until the cheese is completely melted and the sauce is smooth. To Assemble Slice each garlic knot in half like a sandwich roll. Spread a generous spoonful of alfredo sauce on the bottom, add a crispy chicken cutlet, spoon over more sauce, then top with the other half of the garlic knot and serve.
