Look for ways to increase your income instead of only cutting expenses. 5. Build another income stream. One paycheck feels risky these days. I’m building something alongside my full-time job so I have more choices later. 6. Protect your time. Your time becomes even more valuable as retirement gets closer. Start building now so you can have more freedom later. 7. Take action before you feel ready. If I had waited until I felt completely confident, I’d still be waiting. 8. Stay open to growth. Every new skill feels uncomfortable at first. Don’t let that stop you from creating the future you want. I’m not chasing luxury.
