Kinda related. But we have one son thats autistic. That's one major reason why we didn't have more kids. Like it's hard enough being parents to one autistic child. I absolutely couldn't imagine having another special needs kid with even more severe issues. And I won't apologize for it.

I disagree, people who are disabled have the ability to want to experience motherhood and having a child, if they should or shouldn’t is an entirely different conversation but generalizing and saying all disabled people are pressured by society or male validation is just ignorant and insensitive

Or they are pressured into it, or taken advantage off. I don’t blame them, it’s easy for you to judge when you’re not in their shoes. It’s already hard for an average Nigerian woman to refused to have kids now imagine a disabled one, probably from a family that views marriage as an achievement. Shey we were all here when a pastor tried to marry off an autistic girl, did she have a choice??
